The Information Sciences group (CCS-3) has an opening for a postdoctoral research associate in the area of machine learning and graph theory. Regular post-doctoral appointments at Los Alamos are for two years and are renewable for a third year. Selected candidates will participate in a multi-year multi-disciplinary project in high-performance simulation that uses dynamic graph modeling of physical processes. This position will require a balance between an independent work environment and also the communication skills to interact with a multidisciplinary, integrated team. The successful applicant should have a strong publication record and will be expected to publish results in high impact peer-reviewed journals and present at well-known conferences.
