The financial management focus of the Finance & Accounting (FA) Division includes integrating processes and systems across the Division, providing quality business processes and systems throughout the Laboratory, and partnering with the programs and technical divisions to strengthen business capabilities. FA provides stewardship of Laboratory, Triad National Security, LLC, (TNS), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and sponsor resources, building alliances with NNSA, DOE, Los Alamos Site Office (LASO), and the Albuquerque Service Center. FA supports LANL's business functions in Accounting, Budgeting, Financial Compliance, Corporate Reporting, Travel and Tax, Pension and Treasury.
The Controller’s organization is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations that support the mission of the Laboratory. These functions include General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Property Accounting, Accounts Payable, Travel Operations, Payroll/Craft Payroll, Benefits Accounting, Corporate Reporting, Treasury/Tax and Financial Systems.

Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter.
*Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.
New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Regular position: Term status Laboratory employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to regular status.
