The successful candidate will work with a team of computer scientists and plasma physicists to support high performance, large-scale, explicit and implicit PIC simulations, as well as aid in the development of a particle abstraction library which relies heavily on C++ template abstraction. Additionally, this work may call for the porting of existing code to future architectures, including GPUs and beyond. This is a two-year position.
