Your expertise in historic preservation along with strong research and writing skills will allow you and a team to tackle architectural inventories, in-field recordation, treatment recommendations, preservation planning, archival and historical research, NHPA eligibility evaluations, report writing, and other duties as assigned. You will sit with other environmental compliance professionals working within the Environmental Protection and Compliance Division, all of whom work across the Department of Energy facility spanning forty (40) square miles. | | | | | | What You Need Minimum Job Requirements Demonstrated knowledge of federal historic preservation regulations and a successful track record of working on NHPA Section 106 and/or 110 compliance projects involving the historic built environment Proven ability to complete high quality compliance documents, demonstrating outstanding research, writing, and project management skills; a writing sample must be provided Expertise in historical architecture, historic preservation, and current preservation science and materials Exceptional interpersonal/team working skills Ability to obtain a Q clearance
