What You Need
The new GL will be a member of Physics Division Leadership Team, embrace our values, execute our strategy, and promote our vision. The GL will lead the P-4 group management team in implementing our strategy to ensure the success of P-4 and all of its staff members, safely and securely and with environmental awareness. The GL will strive for operational excellence, successful mission execution, project deliverables completed on time and on budget, as well as enabling our staff members’ success. The successful candidate’s technical background and experience will be aligned with P-4 priorities and complement that of the two Deputy Group Leaders.
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a physical science or engineering field, along with at least 8 years of relevant job experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.

Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. Regular position: Term status Laboratory employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to regular status.
