The program includes providing PdM technologies to customers throughout the laboratory, providing guidance to FOD teams that wish to establish a PdM program in their facility, providing training to PdM technicians, engineers, and managers. The program also includes providing troubleshooting assistance using PdM technologies. Currently, LANL makes limited use of PdM technologies and is looking to expand their use to improve reliability and increase maintenance efficiency. The Predictive Maintenance Project Manager will lead that effort. Most of the work will be with facility and industrial type equipment as well as occasional work with specialized experimental equipment. Safety and security are a primary responsibility for all Laboratory employees. Maintains required safety and security training, assures safety and security compliance, and makes safety and security an integral part of every task, including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security. | | | | | | What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RFCA) Ability to establish and implement a PdM Technologies Program and provide training to customers that include technicians, engineers, and managers. In-depth knowledge of and experience with facility and/or mechanical that includes fully understanding and interpreting various mechanical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Demonstrated skill in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions on complex problems affecting facility maintenance and administration. Ability to conceptualize and fully communicate major elements of predictive and preventive maintenance to both technical and non-technical personnel. In-depth knowledge of a large facility complex maintenance policies, practices, and procedures.
Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 5 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with FLIR IR cameras Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Certified reliability Engineer (CRE) or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) Q Clearance Essential Job Functions (can perform with or without reasonable accommodation): Standing, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, carrying/lifting 30+ pounds.
