This position offers opportunities for cross functional training and development across LANL training disciplines. This position will primarily support of the Associate Laboratory Directive for Environmental, Safety, Health, Quality, Safeguards, and Security Directorate (ALDESHQSS) as a deployed resource and provider of full service training support. The candidate will be part of a training coordinator team with cross functional duties ensuring full service support to the ALDESHQSS customer and ITS initiatives. The ALDESHQSS training team partners with Responsible Line Managers (RLM), Subject Matter Experts (SME), Document Control (DC) and SI-ITS to provide innovative, quality training products and services that enable LANL workers to attain and sustain operational excellence while working in a safe, secure, and compliant manner. The Training Coordinator will be required to: Provide training coordination and support services to a large and varied customer base. Provide resolutions to a daily diverse range of moderate to complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factors. Contribute to the development and achievement of team goals and objectives. Utilize training data management systems to track and report training and qualification status. Communicate with managers to ascertain training curricula and courses by functional role. Research, assemble, and/or evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes affecting training programs. Foster a mutually respectful team environment by clearly communicating ideas, respect and consideration for the views others and team support through joint efforts to continually innovative ways to improve work.

Intermediate experience with common computer-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, course design software). Working knowledge of common audio-visual and office equipment.
