The selected candidate will: Manage and maintain a private cloud infrastructure based on VMware vSphere and OVM. This infrastructure hosts ~75 guest systems supporting a wide variety of business, scientific and departmental systems as well as and other important institutional workloads. Assist with the design, test and implementation of new enterprise class virtualization infrastructures based on VMware vSphere or other new and emerging technologies.
| | | | | | What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: Desired Skills: Advanced level knowledge and experience designing and delivering automated Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Advanced level knowledge administering virtual guest performance analytics via vRealize Operations Manager. Advanced level knowledge and experience creating and implementing automated Windows Server configuration management tools (e.g. MS AD GPOs). Demonstrated effective and responsive customer services skills. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to document processes. Demonstrated ability to successfully plan, design, lead and implement complex technical projects. Demonstrated ability to complete assignments and commitments in a timely and professional manner.
