The Research Library seeks a forward-looking information professional to proactively develop and deliver responsive reference, research, and instructional support as well as to develop and manage library collections. The successful candidate will be a member of the customer engagement team, providing services to Lab scientists and engineers as well as working across project teams.

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, preferred ALA accredited MLS / MLIS degree and a minimum of two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Research Library at Los Alamos National Laboratory advances discovery science in support of the Lab mission to solve national security challenges through scientific excellence. Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter.
*Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.
